Florian Auer is an artist who succeeds in bringing the digital and the physical together in an almost magical way. His works feel familiar, yet also unsettling—like a glimpse into a future that is already here, but not quite tangible yet. I admire how he plays with materials, distorts them, simulates them, and reinterprets them. His art is like a dialogue between technology, aesthetics, and human perception. I find it particularly fascinating how Auer translates digital aesthetics—often inspired by 3D renderings or virtual surfaces—into the real world. Anyone interested in contemporary art that reflects our digital present should definitely take a look at his work.
At our event, we had the opportunity to experience his art up close and to discuss the significance of digital transformation in the art world.
