The company is not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer and has not designated one.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing

Your personal data will be processed solely for the purpose of conducting the application process. This includes, in particular, assessing your suitability, qualifications, and professional skills for the advertised position.

The legal bases for processing are:

  •  Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (performance of pre-contractual measures)

  •  Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in optimal personnel selection) 

  •  Art. 9 (2)GDPR, if applicable, when special categories of personal data (e.g. health data) are processed—in this   case, with your explicit consent (Art. 9 (2)(a) GDPR).

4. Categories of Processed Data

​

  • Master data (name, contact details, date of birth)

  • Application documents (cover letter, CV/résumé, references, proof of qualifications)

  • Interview notes from the recruitment process

  • Other information voluntarily provided by you

5. Recipients of Data

​

  • Human Resources Department

  • Department responsible for the advertised position

  • Executive Board/Management (documents relevant to the decision)

  • IT Department (administrative system access for maintenance purposes; no content-related review)

6. Duration of storage

​

Your data will generally be deleted six months after completion of the recruitment process, provided that no employment relationship has been established and you have not given consent to longer storage (e.g. inclusion in a talent pool).

7. Your rights

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you in particular have the right to:

  • Information about the data stored (Art. 15 GDPR)

  • Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data(Art. 16 GDPR)

  • Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)

  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

  • Withdrawal of consent (Art. 7 GDPR)

  • Lodging a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)

8. Obligation to Provide Data

​

The provision of your application data is required for the execution of the recruitment process. Without this data, your application cannot be considered.
