Tell us a bit about yourself!
My name is Luana, I'm 27 years old and I'm in my last semester of International Management at the International School of Management in Frankfurt am Main. Before my current studies, I studied law at Goethe University for six semesters.
How did your path lead you into the world of law firm organization? Was it a conscious decision or perhaps a bit of fate?
I would actually describe it more as fate. I hadn't specifically planned to do an internship in the firm's organization. However, as all the general conditions were perfect and I gained a very positive impression of the firm at the interview, I was soon sure that I wanted to take this opportunity.
Why did you choose GxG?
For me, GxG is the ideal combination of my two main areas of interest: Law and economics. I find the areas of private equity and venture capital in particular extremely exciting and would like to learn more about them, also in a legal context.
There is a solution for everything. Perhaps not always at first glance, but there is always a way to deal with or solve a problem.
Where is your professional journey taking you? Are there any goals or dreams that you still want to realize?
I don't have a specific career goal yet, but I would love to work abroad so that I can experience and further develop the international aspect of my studies in practice.
Is there a book that has particularly inspired you or given you a new perspective?
“The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho is very inspiring for me, as it symbolizes that everyone should follow their own path in life, guided by their own goals and desires. The path plays at least as important a role as the destination.
