Tell us something about yourself! How long have you been with GxG and what do you like best about your role as Office Coordinator?
I've been part of the GxG team since 2022. What I particularly like about my role as Office Coordinator is the variety of my day-to-day work. No two days are the same - there are always new tasks, challenges and exciting projects. I like being active, coordinating things and making sure that everyday office life runs smoothly. It's especially nice when I feel that my work contributes to the success of the whole team.
How did your path lead you into the world of law firm organisation? Was it a conscious decision or perhaps a bit of fate?
My path into law firm organisation was actually a mixture of a conscious decision and a pinch of fate. I was looking for a new professional challenge and when I got the chance to join GxG, it immediately felt right. I've always had a keen interest in the legal world - and sometimes everything just comes together in the right place at the right time.
Why did you choose GxG back then? What attracted you straight away?
I was particularly enthusiastic about the opportunity to work in an exciting, professional environment and to learn new things at the same time. The world of lawyers has always fascinated me - the interplay of precision, strategy and teamwork. At GxG, I had the feeling that I could put my organisational skills to good use. I was also impressed by the corporate culture: right from the interview, I sensed that values such as respect, openness and collegiality are really practised here.
How did you imagine your job at the beginning - and what has surprised you or changed over time?
At the beginning, I imagined the job to be very routine and rather quiet - classic office work. However, I quickly realised that the job is much more varied and dynamic than I had expected. I was particularly surprised by how much the human factor is emphasised: The close collaboration in the team, the exchange with colleagues, solving challenges together - all this makes the job lively. It's nice to be part of a community where people support each other.
What do you particularly like about the atmosphere at GxG? Is there anything that makes the team here unique?
What makes the atmosphere at GxG special for me is the strong team spirit. There is a culture of appreciation here - everyone treats each other as equals and you can feel that everyone wants to contribute to our joint success. My colleagues are not only professional, but also incredibly friendly. I would particularly like to emphasise our boss: he leads with humanity, respect and understanding - and that is exactly what creates a working environment in which people feel comfortable and are happy to get involved.
Tell us your favourite book and give us an insight into its contents.
The Colonel Has No One to Write to Him (El coronel no tiene quien le escriba) is a famous novel by the Colombian writer Gabriel García Márquez, first published in 1961.
At the end of the novel, the colonel's wife asks: ‘And what will we eat if the rooster wins?’ - a question that sums up the couple's desperate reality and fragile hope.
It's a story about hope and resignation, about the consequences of sticking to principles and personal dignity in a corrupt society.
Where is your professional journey taking you? Are there any goals or dreams that you still want to realise?
I firmly believe that personal and professional growth is essential - both in terms of skills and financial development. It is also important for me to constantly expand my knowledge and to complete my tasks in an efficient and goal-orientated manner.
My goal is to lead my own team in the future and achieve success together.
